Go GEO Challenge
The Go GEO Challenge is a new initiative of the Global Education Office at George Mason University. If a program has been designated as a Go GEO Challenge program, then GEO is committing scholarship support to all participants if the program reaches a minimum enrollment goal.
We hope this incentive will encourage students to recruit their friends and classmates to participate in the program with them!
How it works
- A student applies for a Go GEO Challenge program and pays the $200 application deposit.
- Once applied, the student will be encouraged to tell their friends about the program and scholarship.
- If 15 paid participants* enroll in the program, everyone in the group receives a $500 scholarship to help cover their program fee.
Student Eligibility
- Must be attending a qualifying summer GEO program
- A minimum of 15 students must enroll, and pay deposits, and participate!
- Must be a full time undergraduate or graduate student (Non-Mason students also eligible!)
*Paid participant is defined as a student that has paid their application deposit/first payment and final balance.
