Build Your Own Internship - Location of Your Choice
Not seeing an internship for you below? If you have a very specific internship placement in mind or are looking through our program list and not seeing your location of choice, you still have options! You can “ Build Your Own Internship ,” where you research and secure your own internship while working with the GEO office to receive relevant academic credit. Students are responsible for finding this internship, housing, and travel arrangements independently, which is what differs from the existing internship placement programs that GEO offers. All students will be charged in-state tuition for this program and receive a guaranteed $250-$1000 scholarship.

Social Organization Internship with RACI:
RACI (Argentine Network for International Cooperation) seeks to help international donors in their goal of identifying and supporting social organizations with high impact in Argentina. Its network is made up of more than 100 partner organizations that work in 12 different thematic areas which allows it to comprehensively address the country's problems and enhance the impact of RACI's actions.
Social Agenda Internship
To address complex and conflicting issues of the social agenda, Cambio Democrático designs and conducts processes of inclusive dialogue between actors and / or sectors with diverse views and interests around a situation or conflict. These processes seek to build trust, identify consensus, make decisions, and implement sustainable agreements in public policies.
Promoting Politics Internship
Poder Ciudadano works to promote citizens' participation in politics and to make the broad public aware of issues of interest and corruption. They are also the Argentine branch of Transparency International, worldwide leader in the fight against corruption.

Refugee Services Internship — Cape Town, South Africa
Bring compassion and aid to Cape Town's refugee community, working with professional organizations committed to improving the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in South Africa. This placement suits students interested in social services, international relations, or NGO/nonprofit, with a strong interest in refugees' challenges and/or a background in human rights, development studies, or a related field.
