Global Education Office Customized Program Renewal Portal 

Program renewals for Winter Break and spring 2023 programs: April 1, 2022
Program renewals for Summer and Fall 2023 programs: August 1, 2022 

Program Details 

Call for renewals 

The Global Education Office (GEO) invites faculty across the university to submit their intent to renew an existing Customized Program. This portal is dedicated to existing GEO programming. 
GEO will accept renewals for Winter Break and spring 2023 programs until April 1, 2022. For courses held in Summer and Fall 2023, applications close August 1, 2021. Each renewal must include an updated syllabus; outline any program or itinerary changes; confirm which vendor(s) they plan to use.

Program confirmation

  1. Are you confirming your intention to run a repeat program? 
    • Yes - move on to question 2.
    • No - please explain why you are not planning to run the program again. 
  2. If you selected "no" to question 1, are you interested in running the program during a future term? 
    • Yes - move on to question 3.
    • No - why not? Would another faculty member in your department be interested in taking the program on? 
  3. Itinerary upload (including the following): 
    • ​​Program name
    • Location (city, country)
    • Start and end date
    • Academics (lectures, class time)
    • Accommodations
    • Sites (tours, academics, excursions)
    • Mode of Transport (bus, on foot, plane, etc.)
    • Meals
    • Tour Guides and provider services
    • Guest speakers
  4. Upload your updated syllabus (including the following): 
    • ​ Syllabus with contact hours clearly identified.
    • Course number to connect to the program
    • Contact hours – class activities, outside of class activities
    • Program format
    • Pre-& post trip requirements: final assignments, group meetings, etc.
    • Eligibility and pre-requisites  
    • Program learning objectives
