Beth Heflin Cauvel is a Customized Programs Administrator, managing programs on every continent except Antarctica. She began her global voyage at 17 when she spent a year as a Rotary Exchange student in Perth, Western Australia and hasn’t stopped exploring since! Beth holds an undergraduate degree From Wake Forest University in Economics and International Relations and a Master’s of Arts in College Student Development and Administration from Shepherd University. She has lived, worked, and studied in Australia, Belgium and Japan, traveled extensively in Europe and Australia/Pacific, and has worked in international education for over 20 years. Her most life-changing experiences came from her time living in Europe in the months after the fall of the Berlin Wall (and yes, she does have a piece of it that she chiseled off herself)! Lifelong learning, experiencing new cultures and foods!, and mentoring students beginning their own global adventures are her passions. Come in to GEO and chat about where your next adventure will take you!
