Travel Information
Visas
Students must apply for a Korean student visa in order to study on the Korea Gateway program. Students must apply for this visa through the Korean consulate in their jurisdiction. This visa will be placed in your passport and you will carry this with you to Korea. Visa packets, guidelines/advice and documents will be distributed to students during the Fall semester. Students are responsible for obtaining the visa on their own, with support from GEO.
For non-U.S. citizens, the visa process may vary. Although the visa preparation during the fall course is geared toward U.S. citizen applications, UNIV instructors will assist international students on their visa process as well.
